Leading a new initiative within AWS Lambda integrating Generative and Agentic AI into the end-to-end developer experience for frontend and web developers.

Led engineering for AWS Amplify end-to-end, growing from 10,500 to over 350,000 active customers. Shipped Amplify Studio, Gen2, AI Kit, and Amplify Firewall — growing revenue 130% YoY.

• Converted Amplify from a re:Invent 2017 open-source JavaScript library demo into a fully managed AWS service, launching the Amplify Console at re:Invent 2018 with CI/CD hosting, atomic deployments, and instant CDN invalidation.
• Launched the AWS Amplify CLI toolchain in August 2018, providing a category-based developer workflow for provisioning cloud resources via CloudFormation. Later upgraded the CLI through multiple major versions (v1–v12+) adding support for GraphQL, auth, storage, and extensibility via CDK.
• Launched AWS Amplify Admin UI at re:Invent 2020 — an externally hosted visual console enabling frontend teams to create app backends and manage content and users without AWS console access. Later rebranded and evolved into Amplify Studio.
• Launched AWS Amplify Studio at re:Invent 2021 — a Figma-to-code integration that automatically translated Figma designs into human-readable React UI component code. Developers could bind UI components to backend data, apply theming via the Amplify UI Figma plugin, and pull generated JSX/TSX components directly into their codebase.
• Launched AWS Amplify Gen 2 (public preview November 2023, GA May 2024) — a code-first, TypeScript-native developer experience that lets developers define data models, business logic, auth rules, storage, APIs, and hosting entirely in TypeScript, replacing the CLI-driven workflow with infrastructure-as-code.
• Amplify currently serves over 350,000 customers worldwide across 20+ AWS regions. Notable customers include Amazon Music, Abit Agritech, mediality, Neiman Marcus, QsrSoft, noom, HyperTrack, Branch, United Way, Orangetheory Fitness, and hundreds of thousands of startups.

Launched a full SaaS offering for academics and non-profits combining AI and Rosetta computational methods with protein engineering. Achieved 2x YoY revenue growth.

Directed a 7-figure AWS cloud migration across 4 delivery teams of ~60 engineers. Drove containerization, serverless architecture, DevOps culture, and global platform localization.

Architected and delivered enterprise-grade applications for startups to global brands. Lead architect and engineering lead for multiple 6-7 figure contracts including Band of Hands, BenBridge Jewelers, and CBRE Realty.

Employee #3 and founding engineer. Built the flagship SaaS platform from scratch, grew team from 4 to 30+. Won Bronze & Silver 2015 Stevie Awards and MIRA "Tech Services" award.

Full-service web and application development consultancy. Notable clients: Charles Schwab onInvesting, Arizona K-12 School System, Blendtique (Shark Tank), Corning Museum of Glass, Rutgers Health, Leslies Pool Supplies.

Senior engineer for the Hosted PBX SaaS product and all internal billing systems. Built the interface and reporting tools, managed automated billing processes and banking integrations.

Led development of the PPE application from concept to delivery — an enterprise reporting system for labor management, efficiency tracking, and aggregate warehouse performance monitoring.

Re-engineered the affiliate launch process, improving sales-to-production time by 50%. Built data parsers for some of the largest newspapers in the world.
